Parodi &amp; Fair&#8217;s darkly innovative production\/arrangement of the <strong>JAMES BOND Theme<\/strong> (RIAA Gold Record) was credited by Forbes magazine as &#8220;<em>reinventing the modern action movie trailer<\/em>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">As a multi award-winning composer, Starr is the first woman to have her orchestral works performed in the 90-year history of the Festival of Arts &#8211; Pageant of the Masters in Laguna, CA, where she is currently a featured composer.<\/span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Starr has released three critically acclaimed solo albums and collaborated on the writing and production of numerous recordings. Her album <strong>COMMON PLACES<\/strong> won \u201cRecord of the Year\u201d from Solo Piano Radio and was lauded by KCRW\u2019s host and tastemaker Chris Douridas <em>\u201cThis deeply passionate and beautiful recording is one of the best albums of the year.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 Her neoclassical release, <strong>THE HEART OF FRIDA<\/strong>, which celebrates the life, art and courageous spirit of beloved artist Frida Kahlo, won awards for Solo Piano Album of the Year from both International Radio Broadcasters, and solopiano.com.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In 2017, for <strong>\u201dThe Women in the World Summit\u201d<\/strong> hosted by Scarlett Johansson, the New York Times invited Starr to Lincoln Center to conduct \u201cTo All The Little Girls,\u201d a music video and performance she produced and arranged with Oscar winning filmmaker Terry Sanders, which celebrates the potential of young women. In 2019 Starr was again featured at Lincoln Center with a world premiere of her concert work <strong>\u201cThe Joy of the Waters\u201d<\/strong> as part of the Grammy\u00ae winning<strong> \u201cWomen Warriors:Voices of Change.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Starr has won numerous awards including a 2021 <strong>Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA)<\/strong> for <strong>Best Contemporary Classical Piece<\/strong>, was honored with both the 2021 <strong>She Rocks - VISION AWARD<\/strong>, the 2022 <strong>BMI IMPACT AWARD<\/strong> and is a featured composer and artist on the iconic recording <strong>Women Warriors: Voices Of Change<\/strong> which won the <strong>Grammy\u00ae in 2022<\/strong>. As a producer and featured artist, Starr won the the 2023 <strong>Grammy\u00ae<\/strong> award for <strong>Best Classical Compendium Album<\/strong> for her work on Kitt Wakeley's <strong>An Adoption Story<\/strong>.<\/span><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A trailblazer onstage and in the studio, Starr served as President of the Alliance for Women Film Composers (March 2019 &#8211; March 2021) and is widely recognized as a leader in expanding the reach of women in the arts as a composer, producer, performer and cultural visionary.<\/span><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">Born and raised in Seattle, and surrounded by the explosion of the alternative music scene as a teen, Jeff was obsessed with the emotional and expressive sounds that surrounded him, and still draws continuing inspiration from the depth of the Northwest\u2019s brooding climate and landscape. He became a multi instrumentalist, playing bass guitar in numerous rock bands and french horn and sax in orchestras around the Seattle area.\u00a0 After studying with jazz legend Gary Peacock while attending Cornish College of the Arts, he made his way to Los Angeles. There he found he had a unique strength in designing and developing soundscapes and became a sought after and innovative sound guru to many major artists at a very young age. While working with R&amp;B saxophonist <strong>George Howard<\/strong> on his <strong>Billboard #1 recording &#8220;Dancing In The Sun&#8221;<\/strong>, and <strong>The Winan&#8217;s Grammy award winning &#8220;Let My People Go&#8221;<\/strong> Jeff met Starr onstage at the Universal Ampitheater while she was playing keyboards for Howard and they have been partners, musical collaborators, and soulmates ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">It\u2019s their special relationship with each other and with music that brings extraordinary insight into their film, live orchestral work, records, and all of what it is they do.&nbsp; When you consider that most films are about relationships in one form or another, having vast complimentary experiences and strengths not only give Starr &amp; Jeff a deep emotional well to draw from, but brings an even greater component to their art.\u2028&nbsp;\u2028<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What people are saying about Starr &amp; Jeff:<br><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>\u201cPassion is such an overused word today that it\u2019s become debased.
